Ned Stephenson started writing fiction in 2019 and has published books in the genres of science fiction, historical fantasy, and contemporary fiction.
His short stories have been published in sixteen Australian competitions, including prize-winning entries in the Sydney Hammond Memorial SSC, Stringybark Erotic SSA, Newcastle Writers Centre SSA, Newcastle Herald SSC, and Alice Sinclair SSC, as well as highly commended and shortlisted entries in the above mentioned competitions as well as in the Peter Cowan SSC, Stringybark SSA, and Ernestine Hill SSA.
Ned has worked across a range of industries in several Australian states, including a four-year stint in the Northern Territory, which inspired the setting for his first novel. He currently runs a leadership education business (Behavioural Blueprint) where he promotes storytelling as a powerful way to explain workplace behavioural psychology.
